It was commissioned by a US natural gas company to assist in the manufacture of stainless steel Investment casting pipeline value parts. It is made of stainless steel 304, and the surface is engraved with text logos. It needs to be displayed very clearly, and the font depth is 0.8 mm.
The middle is designed as a mounting hole with a diameter of 6mm ±0.1mm. We used superb investment casting to cast the hole, saving a part of the material and facilitating the later CNC machining.
The other end of the hole is an oval hole of 6mm*15mm. In order to fix the ball valve switch in the pipeline, the tolerance is ±0.05mm, which is very tightly matched with the switch. A hole with a diameter of 18mm~18.20mm is designed at the handle position to install the handle. The customer’s idea is post-processing, but we realized it on the casting prototype through technology, saving the cost of post-processing CNC machining.
